BUGIE & Vasari & Ecotect Oh My... Get on it, if you haven't yet!!!

Our Revit, BIM friends Inland (Empire) are doing a special session on Vasari in September... All Designers who are Revit Haters should especially go!!! Well; in addition to anyone who wants to, yet hasn't already gotten a good start with Project Vasari...This is a good opportunity to learn from two of the best-est!!! Without further ado, here's their invitation to us...

Come join BUGIE for our third quarter all day hands on lab training session on Saturday, September 17, 2011.

Matt Jezyk and Scott D. Davis from Autodesk will be presenting conceptual design and analysis in Vasari (Vasari is Free from Autodesk Labs) and Ecotect. This is the perfect class to send the Revit can't do "X" skeptical designers in your office to.

See the attached flyer for more information.

Please RSVP to the Meet Up site and feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.

August 2011 Los Angeles Revit Users Group Meeting

We are pleased to be having the August 17th, 2011 LARUG at USC!!!
Please go to
http://www.usc.edu/visit/upc/ and http://www.usc.edu/visit/upc/driving_directions/
to find your way... As always read all street signs &/or park on campus... $8 is reasonable IMHO...

This month we will have Kimon Onuma presenting a bit of the work he has been doing with the California Community College district, where he uses program requirements in OPS (Onuma Planning Systems), takes it out to SketchUp (???) and takes that into Revit and post it back to OPS... Nice round-trip? I wonder... Come to see for yourself :-)

After that we will have an Open Discussion about... Open Standards, IFC & more, so bring your opinions & expertise, as we will encourage a spirited debate, as always with possible solutions as a result... BTW: Have you been tweeting it up with @OpenRevStds ??? There is a lot of dialog and a lot has already been done toward open standards in our industry, so let's forward the cause!!!

Thanks to Karen Kensek at USC & Cody Nowak for helping work it out; Way to step up!!!

See you there!!!
